It’s that time of year again for our big 45th Annual Record and CD Show coming up on March 6th and 7th at the Gardendale Civic Center. Address is 857 Main Street, Gardendale, AL. Special Early Bird hours of 10-1 on Friday for a first look at the dealers entire inventory. Regular show hours are 1-7 on Friday and 9-5 on Saturday. Admission is $10 during the Early Bird hours on Friday and $5 for general admission hours on Friday and Saturday. Kids under 12 get in free and plenty of free parking. Record dealers from all over the country will be here selling thousands and thousands of 45s, LPs and CDs. If you’ve ever wanted to find a 45 or an album that you remember from years ago, but never thought that you could, chances are very good that you’ll find it here. This show is not just for the serious collector, but for anyone looking for good music, even just one record. I warn you though, like the old potato chip commercial that says ‘you can eat just one,’ that’s probably how it will be for you at this show. You won’t leave with just one record. Once you start browsing through the huge inventory, you’ll probably find many that you want. But not to worry, most prices are very low. Some 45s as low as $1 each. There is no longer an ATM on site, but there are plenty of banks in the area with ATMs. Some dealers may take cards and almost none take checks, so be sure to bring cash. There will be a food vendor on sight, so you won’t even have to leave for lunch. Further info is on the picture below and keep checking our Facebook page for ongoing updates.
